Red Sox facing heat for stealing Yankees' signs

Stop the presses! The MLB has determined that the Boston Red Sox conjured up a scheme to steal signs from the New York Yankees and other teams. A New York Times report cites evidence submitted by Yankees' GM Brian Cashman that "showed a member of the Red Sox training staff looking at his Apple Watch in the dugout and then relaying a message to players." Players could then have used the information to get a jump on pitches or steal bases. “[I’m] aware of the rule that electronic devices are not to be used in the dugout, but beyond that the only thing I can say is that it’s a league matter at this point Commissioner Rob Manfred has yet to decide if and how he will discipline the Red Sox.
