One look at Chrissy Teigen’s Instagram and you’d think her and husband John Legend have one of the most bullet proof relationships in Hollywood. But according to E! Online, that magic wasn’t always so picture perfect.
E! Online reports that Legend actually tried to dump Teigen back in the day, but you know what? She just wasn’t going to let that happen.
Legend reportedly tells The Guardian, “I was really stressed and busy… I was just like: ‘I’d just be happier single right now,’ and she was like ‘No.’”
Teigen addressed the matter on Twitter for her fans, saying “It wasn’t a typical breakup. He was on tour and his voice hurt and he was being a whiny face about everything and so yeah, I was like ‘No.’” Then followed it up with, “11 years, baby.”
Nowadays, they’re happier than ever and share a daughter after tying the knot in 2013. We expect that they’ll remain #RelationshipGoals for a long, long time.
