Alligator leaps out the water to try to bite woman on zipline

A terrifying video has emerged from the United States of an alligator leaping out of a lake to try to bite a woman passing overhead on a zipline.
In the clip, which was filmed in Florida, the alligator snaps its jaws horrifyingly close to the woman's feet as she speeds above the water.
"This video was taken as a group of zipline instructors were trying out a new zip line that passed directly over an alligator pond," the filmer wrote online.
"Needless to say, this new zipline route has never been put in service," he added.
Although the clip was filmed in 2014, it has only just surfaced online.
