Kim Kardashian West has revealed a great deal about her life via television and social media, but one topic that she’s largely kept silent on is politics.
Despite her general avoidance of the matter, she recently made her views on President Trump abundantly clear.
In an interview for the September edition of Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Kardashian West weighed in on who she feels should be in the White House, commenting, “Not the President now. Anyone can run the US better. My daughter would be better.”
Notably, her daughter, North, is 4 years old.
She continued, “We’ve worked so hard to get to where we were and to have so many things that we were so proud of in our country, to just literally revert backwards is the most frustrating thing. Every single day when you can’t really believe what’s going on, the next day it’s something else even more crazy and tragic.”
The business mogul and mother of two further noted, “It’s really scary, the world that we’re living in now. And when you did feel safe at home, now with Trump in presidency you just don’t feel safe any more.”
While her stance is firm now, it reportedly wasn’t always.
Prior to the 2016 election, she wrote on her website, “There was a point when I wasn't 100 percent sure I was even going to vote in this election; I didn't want to vote blindly…I found that without a doubt, I stand with Hillary. I’m with her. I believe Hillary will best represent our country and is the most qualified for the job.”
