You know the face, you know the name. Michael Jackson will always be the "King of Pop." Born on August 29, 1958, Jackson started his music career as lead singer for his family group, the Jackson 5. He later became one of the most influential and world renowned musicians of all time with multiple no. 1 hits from the albums 'Off the Wall,' 'Thriller,' and 'Bad.' In 2009, he died of a drug overdose after a life of struggling with child molestation allegations and the skin disease vitiligo. His court cases and experimentation with plastic surgery made him the center of media controversy until his final years. He is survived by sons Michael Joseph "Prince" and Prince Michael "Blanket" as well as his daughter Paris Michael Katherine.
