Sandesh Raju is the founder of an organization that rescues abandoned and injured horses from the streets of India.
Abandoned horses roam wild through many Indian towns, putting their lives at risk. Raju has rescued more than 50 horses since 2010, providing them with the space and care they deserve.
“I know I am rewarded when I see their eyes without fear and pain,” Raju said.
