Which verses of the Qur'an are about Hazrat Mahdi (as)?

ADNAN OKTAR: There are almost 200 verses. God's name 'Al-Hadi' [The Guide, the Way] comes from the same root as Mahdi. I occasionally read the verses that clearly and explicitly refer to Mahdi. In one of those verses, Almighty God says, "Follow those who do not ask you for any wage and who have received guidance." Hadioon, Mahdis. Muhtadoon, Mahdis. Muhtadoon is the plural form of Mahdi. What do we say when we want to say the plural form of Mahdi? We say Mahdis. Likewise, it is 'Muhtadoon' in Arabic. God clearly and explicitly states in the Qur'an, "Follow Mahdis." That is, "Follow those who lead to guidance." Besides, God says in the 75th verse of Surah an-Nisa -I seek refuge in God from satan-; "What reason could you have..." In other words God says, "You should be surprised." "...for not fighting in the Way of God– for those men, women and children who are oppressed and say, ‘Our Lord, take us out of this city whose inhabitants are wrongdoers!" When? When do Mahdis emerge? When oppression becomes widespread and overtakes countries. Look at what God says in the verse; "...this city whose inhabitants are wrongdoers!" So, there has to be oppression for Mahdi (as) to appear. "Give us a protector from You!" That is a protector from God. A master, a master of time. What is the title of Mahdi (as)? It is 'the Master of Time.' "Give us a protector..." Mind that they do not ask for a prophet. "Give us a protector from You! Give us a helper from You!'?" A person, a man. (Surah an-Nisa, 75) This means that when believers encounter a terrible scourge, they beseech God to send Mahdi (as). This is a verse of the Qur'an that has no other possible implication. "...they said to one of their Prophets," I seek refuge in God from satan, ‘Give us a king," they are asking the Prophet for a king, a commander, a governor, a sovereign. "...and we will fight in the Way of Allah!’" (Surah al-Baqara, 246) They ask for a king above all, even though the Prophet is present. The person they ask for is again Mahdi. "God has appointed Talut to be your king.’" It is the Prophet who is saying this. "Their Prophet said to them, ‘God has appointed Talut to be your king (controlling authority).’" In other words, to be their Mahdi. But they do not acknowledge his Mahdi status and say, "How can he have kingship over us when we have much more right to kingship than he does? He has not even got much wealth!’ "He said," says God, "‘God has chosen him over you..." How does one become Mahdi? He has to be chosen by God. "‘God has chosen him over you and favored him greatly in knowledge and physical strength." In other words, God grants him youthfulness, vitality, and a superior strength and knowledge. "God gives kingship," sovereignty, "to anyone He wills. God is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.’" (Surah al-Baqara, 247) It means that one cannot become the Mahdi on demand. God must create him as the Mahdi. In the 21st verse of Surah Ya Sin, God says -I seek refuge in God from satan; "Follow those who do not ask you for any wage and who have received guidance." In another verse, God says, "Is God not enough for His slave? Yet they try to scare you with others apart from Him." The others mentioned in the verse are dajjals, the system of dajjal. “If God misguides someone," that is, if God makes them followers of the dajjal, "he has no guide," in other words, he has no Mahdi. (Surah az-Zumar, 36) What does 'minhadi' mean? It means 'Mahdi'. "He has no one to guide him," says God. "If he is a follower of the dajjal, he has no Mahdi," says God obviously.
