Nora Aunor joins rally for Kidapawan farmers

Actress Nora Aunor joined a protest rally on Friday seeking justice for farmers of Kidapawan, North Cotabato who came to demand government assistance after drought caused by El Niño hit their farms. But instead of delivering aid, police last April 1 stormed the protesters’ barricade and opened fire, killing two farmers and wounding 13 others.
