Lady Gaga to Release Intimate Netflix Documentary on Sept. 22

Lady Gaga has a special announcement for her 25.1 million Instagram fans, in the form of a collage that gives them a sneak preview to her upcoming documentary on Netflix.

She also Tweeted the title, and premise, saying “I’m known for being larger than life, but really I’m just… #GagaFiveFootTwo.”

The Five Foot Two title references her height, and also addresses how small she feels when she’s put on such a pedestal but then the loud crowds and legions of fans aren’t always there.

E! Online reports that she’s recorded crying in the documentary, saying, “I’m alone, every night. And all these people will leave, right? They will leave, and then I’ll be alone. And I go from everyone touching me all day and talking at me all day to total silence.”

The singer’s documentary will be an intimate look into her life, both behind the scenes and in the spotlight, released on Netflix, Sept. 22.
