AB de Villiers has stepped down as captain of South Africa's ODI side. De Villiers has asked Cricket South Africa to relieve him of his duties as Proteas ODI captain. With so much speculation surrounding his Test future, de Villiers also made it clear that he will be available to play in all three formats of the game from late September when South Africa begin their home season.
