Social media users, including Chelsea Clinton, have reacted negatively to a Daily Caller piece that criticizes Barron Trump.

Presidential children can't seem to avoid the media’s eye and Barron Trump, the 11-year-old son of the president and first lady Melania Trump, has faced his share of spotlight beginning as early as the inauguration.
The Daily Caller published a piece on Monday titled, “It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House,” which has attracted significant attention.
The author, Ford Springer, asserts, "I’ve been on the Barron Trump train from the start, but it’s about time the president’s son starts dressing the part."
Springer continues his commentary concerning Barron’s “public appearance,” adding that the president and first lady always seem to be appropriately dressed, "but then Barron steps out in a t-shirt, khaki shorts and some suede loafers."
Twitter users were quick to react and most responses appeared to be negative.
Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton, who also came to Barron’s defense in January, tweeted Monday, "It's high time the media & everyone leave Barron Trump alone & let him have the private childhood he deserves."
Another user noted, “I, for one, am a fan of Barron's fashion. He's 11. He dresses like it. What…do you people want?”
Others echoed similar thoughts, including, "I am not here for stories that pick on children in the White House. He is 11. Let kids be kids," and "he can just keep dressing like he's 11. That would probably actually be fine."
