PM Modi's address to the nation on the 71st Independence Day was interrupted by a flying kite, which landed below the podium while he was about to conclude his speech. The Prime Minister concluded his speech unfazed by the Kite. Ahead of the Independence Day celebrations, the national capital was put under an unprecedented ground-to- air security cover to prevent any untoward incident.
