Hundreds of protesters descended on Trump Tower in New York City on Monday, August 14, as President Donald Trump was set to make his first visit home since becoming president. Trump tweeted Monday evening he was en route to New York.At least three rallies were planned in the vicinity of Trump Tower, and protesters could be seen marching throughout midtown Manhattan.A large number of police officers were present outside Trump Tower Monday evening.
