In order to extend your tourist visa you don't need to find out any trekking or travel agency. you can do it yourself. It’s very easy to extend your visa. Visa extensions are available on the same day, normally within two hours Tourist visa can be extended for a maximum period of 150 days in a single visa year (January – December). To extend a tourist visa in Nepal go to the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu or the Immigration Office in Pokhara only.For visa extension requires your passport, one copy PP photo, the fee and an application form which must be completed online first. Important tips: - In application form, one of the difficult questions is a Nepalese street address with house number. If you don't know the house number, just put any number you want but not more than 3 digits. Nobody other than the computer system really seems to care if you do this.
