The Greenville Police Department in South Carolina recently shared news of a Bigfoot sighting in neighboring North Carolina and asks that those who encounter the beast just let it be.

When people encounter Bigfoot, it appears that some spend their time trying to get a photo that will finally prove it exists, while others just run for their lives.
The Greenville Police Department in South Carolina recently shared news of a Bigfoot sighting in neighboring North Carolina and asks that those who encounter the beast just let it be.
Its Facebook post on the matter includes a link to a video that apparently shows the mythical beast standing alongside a dirt road and not far from the person doing the filming.
Much to the almost-victim’s relief, a small dog named Ziggy comes to the rescue, barking until Bigfoot flees for its own safety.
The department's post notes, “After watching this video from nearby Boone, North Carolina, Facebook followers and friends, I think we can say with some confidence that proof of Bigfoot still eludes us. If you see Bigfoot, please do not shoot at him/her, as you'll most likely be wounding a fun-loving and well-intentioned person, sweating in a gorilla costume.”
