VTR: Why in marriages, spouses quickly become bored of each other?
ADNAN OKTAR: It is because husbands regard their wives as a combination of flesh, fat and bone, rather than a manifestation of God. They should always keep in mind that women are the manifestations of God, that they are put under the custody of their husbands and that God's divine light manifests in them. Only then will they deem women precious and eminent. When men see women as a means to achieve petty personal gains, their feelings for their wives go beyond boredom outright hatred and grudge. Ultimately they either stab and kill their wives, or severely beat them. Such examples are quite common occurrences. This is what happens when people lack love and fear of God. I think women should avoid sharing the same house with those who lacks love of God. This is my humble advice; the decision is theirs. They should be wary of those who do not fear God and know that being with a person who does not submit to and fear God will not do them any good.
