Dame Helen Mirren Would Have Loved to Play James Bond

Dame Helen Mirren has waded into the debate of Halle Berry saying James Bond should never be played by a woman.
And she couldn’t disagree more.
The 72-year-old just admitted that she would have relished in the role when she was younger… but because of her age, that ship has sailed.
She said she’s too old, but in her youth, it would have been great. But she added that back in those days, things were different… and they could never even imagine a woman playing that role.
Only a few days before Halle admitted that she wants to be tough but doesn’t know if Bond should be a woman.
She would rather a new Bond character that’s a woman emerge, but would prefer to keep 007 as a man.
