Amid the India-China standoff over the Doklam Plateau a major part of Sardar Patel's statue is being manufactured in China. About 25000 bronze parts of the statue are being made in China and will be shipped to Gujarat for cladding the tall statue being built at a whopping Rs 3000 crore.
