Trump After North Korea Missile Test: 'I Am Very Disappointed In China'

President Trump expressed his disappointment with China shortly after another missile test by North Korea.
Shortly after another missile test by North Korea, President Trump stated his disappointment with China in a series of tweets on Saturday.
"I am very disappointed in China. Our foolish past leaders have allowed them to make hundreds of billions of dollars a year in trade yet they do NOTHING for us with North Korea, just talk." Trump tweeted, "We will no longer allow this to continue. China could easily solve this problem!"
In the past, Trump has expressed hope that China would help with curtailing North Korea's weapons program.
"China has great influence over North Korea. And China will either decide to help us with North Korea, or they won't. And if they do that will be very good for China, and if they don't it won't be good for anyone," Trump was quoted as saying the Financial Times earlier this year.
However, with its second test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile on Friday, the reclusive Asian nation shows no signs of slowing down.
Following North Korea's test, two U.S. Air Force B-1 bombers flew over the Korean peninsula in a show of force during the weekend.
"North Korea remains the most urgent threat to regional stability," said Gen. Terrence J. O'Shaughnessy, Pacific Air Forces commander, in a statement. "Diplomacy remains the lead; however, we have a responsibility to our allies and our nation to showcase our unwavering commitment while planning for the worst-case scenario. If called upon, we are ready to respond with rapid, lethal, and overwhelming force at a time and place of our choosing."
