During the BRICS conference in Beijing in China, talks between Shi Jinping and Ajit Doval are held in formal form. Doval was also met with Xi Jinping and Chinese officials. Doval has done the same three 'One Two One' Meetings. It seems that both of these countries were able to understand each other's situation from these meetings.
