Mexican Locals Celebrate Finding the Face of Jesus in a Mushroom

Inscribed with an image of a crucified Christ, a holy mushroom is held in the church of Senor del Honguito, a sacred fungus with blessed healing powers in the Mexican town of Chignahuapan. The hallowed shroom is said to have been found all the way back in 1880 by a local lumberjack and residents of Chignahuapan were so enthralled at the discovery that they built a church on the location where the mushroom was believed to have been discovered.
