Debutant Hardik Pandya's maiden fifty on debut and tail-enders' exploits ensured India post mammoth 600 in their first innings against Sri Lanka on second day of the first Test. But it was the great work put in by the Indian bowlers which reduced the Lankan batting to half by the end of the day.
