A Pakistani girl was just raped in 'revenge'

A village council in Pakistan just ordered a 16-year-old girl to be raped as a punishment after her brother raped a 12-year-old girl from their village. "A jirga [village council] had ordered the rape of a 16-year-old girl as punishment, as her brother had raped a 12-year-old," police official Allah Baksh told AFP. The council, comprised of 40 men, ordered the victim to be raped in front her parents and council members.
