But TMZ reported Bieber has joined the Hillsong Church to embark on a spiritual journey. Carl Lenz, a pastor at the church, has been spotted a few times with Bieber since word of the tour's abrupt end, and Twitter users are raising eyebrows. The 'Biebs' and Lentz go back since 2014 when Bieber claimed a newfound spirituality inspired his 'Purpose' comeback. Sources told NY Daily News: "[Lentz is] not a typical pastor." "[Bieber is]becoming the Tom Cruise of that church."
