Murder, he squawked: Wife found guilty in 'parrot witness' murder
  • 7 years ago
WHITE CLOUD, MICHIGAN — Michigan woman Glenna Duram was last week found guilty of killing her husband Marty in 2015.

The couple's pet African Grey parrot, Bud, reportedly saw the whole thing go down but wasn't called to provide testimony despite initial considerations for him to do so.

The bird keeps squawking "Don't Shoot!" in Marty's voice and his parents reckon that's Bud mimicking their son's last words. Parrots like Bud are renowned for their speech and ability to mimic others.

Glenna looking at life behind bars and will be sentenced at the end of August, reports Fox 17 West Michigan.
