Christopher Anton Rea, né le 4 mars 1951 à Middlesbrough, est un auteur-compositeur anglais à succès. Son plus grand succès date de 1989 avec l'album The Road to Hell. Son père, Hugh Rea, était glacier dans la proche banlieue de Middlesbrough, à Guisborough. Dans cette banlieue, "Aller chez Rea's" (prononcer "Rias") signifiait aller manger une glace.
