While it might not be a typical love story, the reunion is being celebrated by neighbors and on social media. “I believe that he is my husband, because whatever he does, it is in exactly the same way as he did when he was alive,” Khim Hang explained. Not long after Khim’s husband died, she and her children felt a connection to the newborn calf. The calf now sleeps in their bed and enjoys watching TV, with similar preferences to Khim’s husband. The cow has even gained a following on social media, attracting more than 100 visitors a day. Khim says she will always take care of the calf, and has told her kids to do the same.
