It’s official, Lena Dunham is joining the cast of American Horror Story season 7.
The news was made by Ryan Murphy, as he posted this tweet saying his good friend Lena was joining the cast…
And we have to admit – we didn’t see this one coming.
But here’s the thing. Rumor has it Lena won’t be joining the cast in any long term capacity… because he has a tendency to invite on high-profile guest stars to fit in the season’s theme.
And this season sounds like it’s right up Lena’s alley.
For a while now we’ve been hearing whispers that this season will have something of a political edge, starting on the night of the 2016 US election. And as it ramps up, it will probably escalate to supernatural terrors from there.
Lena was a vocal advocate for Hillary Clinton and she’s made no secret for her distaste of Donald Trump.
