It takes about the same amount of time that it takes to needle felt a ball, surprisingly. In this video, you will learn how to wet felt wool roving into a ball using only water, soap, and wool roving. This wet felting wool tutorial is a great tutorial for beginners who have never ventured into wet felting before. I will walk you through the steps one by one and in detail.
Supplies: wool roving or felting wool dish soap hot water cold water 2 bowls towel
Optional for faster drying: a dryer and a mesh bag If you want to learn how to make a felt ball garland, you can use a sewing needle to pierce each ball and thread the string through the balls.
