Sabarimala :The Kerala Government Has Decided to Create a New Airport

The Kerala government has decided to create a new airport to cater to the inflow of devotees to Sabarimala temple in the state. The state cabinet on Wednesday decided to initiate the process to set up the airport at Harrisons Malayalam Ltd’s Cheruvally Estate in Kanjirapally taluk of Kottayam district.
ಶಬರಿಮಲೆ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಯಾತ್ರಿಕರ ಅನುಕೂಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ.ಶಬರಿಮೆಲೆ ಅಯ್ಯಪ್ಪ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ಶಬರಿಮಲೆಯಿಂದ 48 ಕಿ.ಮೀ.ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೊಟ್ಟಾಯಂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಚೆರುವಾಲಿ ಎಸ್ಟೇಟ್‌ ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬುಧವಾರ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದೆ.
