With rains lashing Bengaluru, City's Bellandur Lake spills toxic foam again on July 19th. The people of the region are blaming government for this situation. After National Green Tribunal's strict indication to clean Bellandur lake, the Karnataka government has started cleaning process with Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike(BBMP) and Lake Development Authority (LDA). But the toxic foam is still there in the lake.
ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ದಿನದಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಬರದಿಂದ ಕಂಗಾಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಜನರ ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂದಹಾಸ ಮೂಡಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬೆಳ್ಳಂದೂರು ಭಾಗದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಳೆ ಬಂತು ಅಂದ್ರೆ ನಿದ್ದೆ ಕೆಡುತ್ತದೆ! ನಿನ್ನೆ(ಜುಲೈ 19) ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿದ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಬೆಳ್ಳಂದೂರು ಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ನೊರೆ ಏಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಶುರುವಾಗಿದೆ.
