Neil Armstrong's space bag expected to fetch millions at auction

A so-called space bag which once belonged to the first man to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong, was up for auction at Sotheby’s Space Exploration Auction, which coincides with the 48th anniversary of the first moon landing.
The bag is said to have been used to protect the first-ever lunar dust collected from the moon.
It’s an outer decontamination bag,” explained Sotheby’s Cassandra Hatton. “So it was used to protect those samples from any contamination from us and planet Earth, but also to protect the spacecraft and planet Earth from potential contamination from lunar pathogens.”
Other artifacts and souvenirs on also up for auction include a framed photo signed by Buzz Aldrin and a flight plan of the Apollo 13 mission.
