LA Galaxy defender Nathan Smith has been suspended for one game and issued an undisclosed fine for serious foul play that endangered the safety of an opponent in the 59th minute of the Galaxy’s match against Sporting Kansas City on June 24. Smith will serve the suspension during the Galaxy’s match against the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, July 1.
