The rapper reportedly caught wind of a young fan named Tyler Wesley, who suffered a spinal cord injury in a car accident five years ago. TMZ reports the incident left him paralyzed from the shoulders down.
Not so fast, though, the kid is walking once again. Kanye has sent him a pair of Yeezy Boosts 350 with a personalized note, saying, “You are an inspiration. You show the world anything is possible. Thank you for sharing your journey.”
And Tyler can stroll in style… Thanks to diligent physical therapy at Craig Hospital, Tyler is making progress towards defying the odds and even participating in 5K races.
Kanye isn’t the only one inspired by Tyler’s journey, now thousands of Instagram followers are seeing his progress and cheering him on.
