Amazon puts the 'Spark' back in online shopping

Pinterest may have some competition. Spark, a new feature on the Amazon app, has just been released and allows users to browse products on an Instagram like shoppable feed. To access the feature, users have to select the 'Programs & Features' menu option and choose their interests based on a wide range of categories. Users will see you images based on their interests and how many products within the image are available for purchase. When selecting a highlighted product within the image, users will be directed to the product detail page to make a purchase. Amazon's goal is to redirect off-site social activity around products back to the site, where users can easily buy products with a simple click.
