John Boyega Slams Game of Thrones for Lack of Diversity

John Boyega has slammed Hollywood for its lack of diversity – but he had some special words for the producers of Game of Thrones.
The 25 year old actor said there are NO black people on the show, and that there are NO black people in Lord of the Rings, and he isn’t paying any money to always see one type of person on screen.
He went on to suggest the decision is a racist one, because you definitely see different people from different backgrounds and different cultures every day. And if you’re racist, you have to live with that.
Game of Thones has cast a few black actors in the past, and the question of diversity is something George RR Martin has been asked to address.
He wrote on his blog that Westeros is around 300 AC and is nowhere near as diverse as the 21st century America.
Boyega was born in London to Nigerian parents and arose to fame in 2015 after being JJ Abrams cast him in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
