Oscar-winning star Martin Landau dies at 89

The Oscar-winning star Martin Landau passed away on Saturday at the age of 89. The actor died of unexpected complications after being hospitalized at UCLA Medical Center, according to his publicist. The star rose to fame after playing a gay man in Alfred Hitchcock's "North by Northwest" in 1959. Landau continued to win an Oscar for his performance in "Ed Wood" in 1994.
