Garbine Muguruza beats Venus Williams to win first Wimbledon title

Garbine Muguruza beat Venus Williams on Saturday, winning her first Wimbledon title. The Spanish tennis player won the second set 7-5, 6-0 in just an hour and 17 minutes. “Two years ago I lost in the final to Serena and she told me one day I was going to maybe win and hey, two years after here I am," Muguruza said. Muguruza is the second Spanish woman to take home the Wimbledon single title, after her roach Conchita Martinez.
