Authorities reveal Chris Cornell committed suicide

After investigating the crime scene where Soundgarden artist Chris Cornell died, authorities concluded the musician took his own life. The 52-year-old was found dead While Cornell had anti-anxiety drugs in his system, the medical examiner said the pills did not cause his death. Cornell was found dead on May 18 at the MGM Grand Casino Hotel, only hours after Soundgarden performed in Detroit.
