Ravi Shastri has been appointed team India's new head coach after the Cricket Advisory Committee comprising of Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulakr and VVS Laxman consulting with Team India captain Virat Kohli. Shastri had taken over as Team India's team director back in 2014 .
