Footage has emerged of a motorcyclist falling off his bike after getting caught in downed power lines in Gopeng, Malaysia.

The dashcam footage, shot on July 6, captures the moment the power line brought the bike to a stop as it caught the front of the vehicle, sending the driver off the bike.

According to the filmer, the motorcyclist was sent to hospital after the incident.
