Nelsan Ellis passed away over the weekend, and now the former True Blood star’s family is coming forward with the devastating details behind the 39-year-old’s death.
RadarOnline.com reported Nelsan died from heart failure stemming from issues related to alcohol withdrawal.
The actor’s family admitted that Nelsan suffered from issues with drug and alcohol abuse for years.
