Assam : Heavy rain & floods damages the city condition | Oneindia Kannada

Heavy rain in Assam creates damaging condition in the city. 25 people died because of flood till date. 4 lakh people struggling to live normal life. Flooded villages, houses with no roofs, boat cruises for transport, the destructive condition of the people, the defense squads to save people. This is the picture of Assam currently. Over the past few days, 25 people have been killed and more than four lakh are homeless in Assam.There are 15 districts in the state facing floods and rescue operations are taking place.

ಜಲಾವೃತವಾದ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗಳು, ಮೇಲ್ಛಾವಣಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಮನೆಗಳು, ಸಾರಿಗೆಗೆ ದೋಣಿಯೇ ಗತಿ, ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕ ಜನರ ಆಕ್ರಂದನ, ಜನರನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಲು ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ತಂಡಗಳ ಹರಸಾಹಸ... ಇದು ಸದ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸ್ಸಾಮಿನ ಚಿತ್ರಣ. ಅಸ್ಸಾಂ ರಾಜ್ಯದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಕಳೆದ ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮಳೆಗೆ ಇದುವರೆಗೂ 25 ಜನ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ನಾಲ್ಕು ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನರು ನಿರಾಶ್ರಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಒಟ್ಟು 15 ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳು ಪ್ರವಾಹವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ.
