पीएम मोदी के G-20 शिखर सम्मेलन में हिस्सा लेने के लिए जर्मनी पहुंचने पर चांसलर एंजेला मर्केल ने मोदी का स्वागत किया। जर्मनी में ब्रिक्स देशों के साथ पीएम मोदी ने बैठक की। प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने ब्रिक्स देशों की बैठक में सभी नेताओं से एकजुट होकर आतंकवाद से लड़ने की अपील की। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने ब्रिक्स में शामिल देशों के नेताओं से कहा कि वे दुनिया की अर्थव्यवस्था को आगे बढ़ाने का नेतृत्व संभालें। जी-20 की बैठक से पहले ब्रिक्स नेताओं की बैठक में प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने यह भी कहा कि आतंकवाद को पनाह देने वाले देशों के खिलाफ भी कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए।
