Ed Sheeran has stepped away from Twitter and his 19.2 million followers, thanks to some of Lady Gaga's fans. Gaga's fans came after Sheeran after they mistakenly assumed he was talking about her in one of his interviews. “I’ve actually come off Twitter completely. I can’t read it. I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things," Sheeran. Gaga quickly rushed to the 26-year-old's defense, supporting him with a note on Instagram. "What an incredible talented artist I LOVE ED @teddysphotos deserves all our love and respect like all humans do," Mother Monster wrote.
