Do you knoe Why doesn't Shah Rukh Khan’s sister Shehnaz appear in public. And Shahrukh has been supporting her for at least a decade now, if not longer, because she is too sick to work. I imagine it is easier to only make the occasional very formal appearance (like in their Eid photos), and the rest of the time try to live unnoticed. I can’t imagine the difficulties of being related to Shahrukh Khan and trying to survive with a mental illness.
