Jean-Claude Juncker calls European Parliament 'ridiculous' after small number of MEPs attend debate

The president of the European Commission angrily complained that only "about 30" MEPs showed up for a debate on the Maltese presidency of the Council of the EU on 4 July. Juncker later declared that he would "never again attend a meeting of this kind".
