New Jersey Governor Chris Christie passed a $34.7 budget, ending a three-day state government shutdown. Christie also approved a legislation to dismantle the state's largest insurer, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield. The Republican signed the deal after Democratic leaders of the Legislature announced a deal on Monday. The deal reportedly includes more than $300 million in Democratic spending.
