Apple drastically slashes prices in India

Apple dropped the retail price for iPhones, iPads, and Macbooks in India. It's unclear whether the decrease in prices is due to the new tax reform, which uniformly decreased taxes to 12 percent. Previously, all smartphones in the country were taxed anywhere from eight to 20 percent. The tech giant is now offering a 7.2 percent discount on the iPhones currently available in India.
