"Onnum Mindathe" Movie Teaser - Jayaram, Meera Jasmine

Onnum Mindathe might easily be watched off as a characteristic family tale with associated tensions and worries. However, what makes this earnestly-made film so likable is the simple, uncomplicated warmth about it. While switching from harmony to discord in a well-organised family, Sugeeth makes the transition appear less laborious even with all the traces of indispensable monotony that creeps into it.

Amply nourished by lush frames that distil and present a village picture rich with golden-hued hedges, paddy fields and dusty paths laden with boulders, Sugeeth pieces together elements of trust, love and bond. He makes excellent use of two actors, who have of late struggled to render themselves lovable. Jayaram and Meera Jasmine try to reinvent themselves in a tale that might look so familiar but stands apart in a way, which is charmingly surprising. They play a husband and wife bound together by love and later finds themselves lost in an emotionally searing phase.
